Les Ward
The Principal of Ward Legal Queensland, Les Ward, is a senior lawyer with more than 4 decades of experience as a sole practitioner. He was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in March 1982 after completing 5 years as an Articled Law Clerk (effectively an apprentice Solicitor), and subsequently admitted to the High Court of Australia. He is the holder of a current unrestricted Principal's Practising Certificate issued through the Queensland Law Society. Les throughout his legal career has remained a 'generalist' lawyer assisting clients across a multitude of legal issues from civil and criminal trials to conveyancing and commercial matters including marina law. Since his early days as an Articled Law Clerk, Les has also had substantial experience in Estate Planning and the Administration of Deceased Estates and it is this area in which he is now focusing.
Kerry Ward - Consultant
Kerry Ward, is a Consultant to the Firm. She was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in February 1996 and subsequently to the High Court of Australia. In December 2003, she was registered as an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries Law which accreditation she holds to this time. To be recognised as an Accredited Specialist is an acknowledgement given by the Queensland Law Society affirming a Queensland legal practitioner has achieved the knowledge and expertise in a particular area of law to be deemed a 'specialist'. Kerry also now operates her own law firm "Redlands Injury Law" but still consults to Ward Legal.
